Open Studio's 2008 Summer Poster Cover Artist Louise Lambert

Louise Lambert

A native of Toronto, Lambert has travelled the world and captured its complexity and beauty in both portraits and landscapes. A former marketing executive for Fortune 500 companies, Louise's artistic sojourn has taken her from art studies at Ryerson University to further private studies in the US, Canada, and Singapore. A random summer visit to the Okanagan Valley captured her heart, leading her to relocate to the area.

Lambert's many showings throughout the valley have garnered wide acclaim, causing the local media to nickname her The Lady of Light for her ability to capture within her work the spectacular lights and shadows of the surrounding mountains, skies and vineyards.
